Week of 10/15 Update

Roller-Ski Race-10/21 Practice
This Sunday is the annual CNSC roller-ski race at Val Halla. It’s a 15k classical. The proceeds from the race go to Maine Coast Nordic. The race this Sunday will serve as our practice. It’s important that there is a good MCN skier turnout.

Please let me know who is interested in racing on Sunday. If you’re not racing Sunday, like several cross country runners, I still want you to attend. The club can still use your support with assisting on the course. Bring your classical roller-skis even if not racing.

The rumor on the street is that Andrew Johnson is racing. In addition, there will be a college team competition. Meghan Burns informed me that the UNH team will be attending as well as skiers from Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin. For those of you looking to ski at the next level, this is a great networking opportunity so be there!

The event starts at 8am, at Val Halla. Try to arrive at 7:30am for registration and a warm-up. For more race details, go to www.coastalnordic.org.
