Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday. The snow continues to be outstanding. Here is the MCN practice schedule for this week:
Thursday, 1/3/08, Pineland 3:30-4:45 (dark), classic, meet at Oak Hill trailhead
Saturday, 1/5/08, Pineland 9:00-11:00 skate, meet at Oak Hill trailhead
This will be the last Thursday practice for a while. The Cumberland Youth Skiing program starts next week and will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We’ll continue to practice on weekends.
The next Eastern Cup is slated for the last weekend in January. If anyone is interested in accommodations in Rumford, see the 12/27 post above. For planning purposes, please email me if you’re planning to race that weekend. It’s much closer than the PI Eastern Cup and it’s a great way to ski against some of the best in the East.
