Week of 3/3 Update

MCN had a fantastic representation at the Eastern High School Championships Qualifier this past weekend. Holly Whitney, Molly Susla, Alison Hall, Amy Lones, and Melanie Ross will represent Maine at the Championships. It was a packed day of racing, starting off with a classical race in the morning and a freestyle race in the afternoon. Molly Susla is to be complimented for her second race, she had the fastest time of the afternoon! Good luck to Amy and Holly in their last races of their high school careers. Both of these skiers will move into the college ranks next year.

For the Boys, Nate Niles, summer MCN skier Scott Talbot, and Russ Morazzini will represent Maine at the EHSC in Stowe. Nate has a lot of ski racing ahead of him, he qualified for the J2 Festival this coming weekend in Jackson, NH. He also qualified for EHSC's in two weeks. Additionally, Nate was the first alternate for the J2 New England JO team. Good luck to Russ in his last race of his high school career.

We have three other skiers joining Nate this weekend in NH. Erik D'Agostino, Rachel Hall, and Sam Humphries will compete in Jackson at the J2 festival.

Good Luck to Adele Espy who will be heading to Alaska for the Junior Olympics. Adele has had a tremendous season, she will represent MCN and New England gracefully in Alaska.

There will not be a practice this weekend. Off to Anchorage. I'll keep the blog updated hopefully with some cool photos.

Good Luck this weekend. Ski Hard, Have Fun!
