Adele Espy and Sam Humphries both finished third place in their respective classes on Sunday. Sam, after a "oh ----" I don't have my bib at the start, had the best race of his ski career with a third place finish in his 5k race.  Special thanks to the heroics of Ted Hall and Charlie Humphries for the swift bib delivery.  Jackson Bloch also competed in the J2 race and  said the "I gained a lot of confidence today..."

Adele, skiing with several of the nations best, finished third overall in the women's 10k race field and was a 1/2 second out of second.  She had the lead for a good part of the second lap. Molly Susla also competed in the 10k.  Nate Niles and summer MCN skier Casey Jones competed in the J1/OJ field, a 15k (HS hill three times).  The field was tough with several colleges: Colby, Bates, Bowdoin, UNH, Dartmouth, Middlebury..you get the picture, competing.

It was a great weekend and everyone had a great time.

Good Luck to Adele Espy!  She leaves Friday for France for two weeks, she is representing the best US Juniors at Junior World Championships.  I hope to have some updates from her on the trip.
