I am sorry for my long absence due to getting married and now trying to get back into the swing of things at school. I am still working on trying to be in touch with all of you that I got emails and calls from over the last week. I also want to set up the fall schedule so that people can make plans. I know in my last blog post I had said Monday and Tuesday practices for September and October but after getting Katrina (my wife's) work schedule I will have to hold practice on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at 3:15.
I also want to clarify why we are starting up practice next week on a limited schedule and not just in late October when Morgan used to start it up. The reason is because I have time in the afternoon since I am working at Yarmouth High School. It is not something I have to do, but the more time I have to work with all you skiers the more help I can be to all of you. As fall sports start to wind down in late October I will get going with practices 5 days a week and run that through November till winter sports start and people have to train with their school's Nordic team.
So starting next week we will have practices on Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:15pm. I know many of your fall sport coaches won't let you out to come to these practices and that is ok! I am not doing this to double you up on workouts just for a way to go roller skiing with those athletes who's coaches will let them participate. (Please make sure to check with your school coach and they can contact me if they have questions.)
Then the full fall schedule will start up by November 1st, which means 4 days during the week and 1 day on the weekend. That schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon, and Sunday mornings.
Just so you all know the cost is still the same as I posted in my last blog post and the only reason for having practice start sooner is for those athletes who's coaches will allow them to train with me a day or or so a week. Please don't think you should not do the fall program just because she can't do these early work outs in September and October while you are still in season.
