Please notice that we are going to train together on Tuesday instead of Monday this week so we can ski together and not have to run. It will be a skate ski on Tuesday and meet at the Outdoor Center and we head to Oak Hill from there. Also make sure you get a Pineland Pass!
Here is the training plan for next week:
1/3 Monday- On your own easy skate ski, run etc. Total 1:15
1/4 Tuesday- 3:15 to 4:30PM Pineland- Skate ski with technique and if you are racing Wednesday we'll do pickups. 15 seconds on and 45 seconds off. 5-7 times. If not racing ski level 3. You can do 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off 3-5 times.
1/5 Wednesday- Libby Hill Skate Race. Focus on a good warm up. If not racing level 4 with 4 minutes on and 4 minutes off. 4 times.
1/6 Thursday- Run and strength.
1/7 Friday- Off
1/8 Saturday- Classic ski with speed. Work on poling over the top of hills and cornering. Doesn't have to be hard just work on skiing fast through transitions.
1/9 Sunday- Easy skate ski 1:30 total.
