We were able to get some skiing in this week but we sure could use more snow. So think snow, snow, snow! Here is the plan for next week.
1/10 Monday- 3:15-4:30PM Pineland Meet at the parking lot by the pond/Oak Hill. Classic ski unless there is not enough snow to set tracks in which case we will skate.
1/11 Tuesday- Pickups 15 seconds on and 45 seconds off. 5-7 times for those racing on Wednesday. If you are not racing Wednesday you can 20 minutes of level 3. 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off. 4 times. Total time 1:30
1/12 Wednesday- Pineland Classic Race. Really work on a good warm up. Maybe 3-5 minutes of level 3, then ski easy, followed by 2-4 minutes of level 4 doing speed and pickups. Total 1:30
1/13 Thursday- Run and Strength. Total :45-1 hour jog.
1/14 Friday- Off
1/15 Saturday- If you can race great if not level 4, 3 minutes on and 3 minutes off. 5 times.
1/16 Sunday- Easy distance ski. Total 1:30-1:45.
Hope for snow and know that we are in week 2 of a 4 week training cycle.
