Training 1/31/11 - 2/6/11

Hi Team,

This week is the end of our 4 week cycle and so next week starting on 1/31 is a recovery week and build for the rest of the races in February! Hope Wednesday's high school race and today's middle school race went well and the always fun Sassi race this weekend!
The training for next week is below:

1/31 Monday- 3:15 to 4:30PM Skate ski at Pineland. Meet at the Outdoor center and we will do specific ski strength, downhill and technique work.
2/1 Tuesday- Level 1 ski with 15 seconds on and 45 seconds off pickups. Total 1 Hour
2/2 Wednesday- Classic High School Race. Make sure to do a good warm up with Level 3 and 4 and a good cool down with some level 2. For non racers level 3 for 15-20 minutes. 5 on, 5 off, 3-4 times. Total workout 1:30.
2/3 Thursday- Easy jog for 20 minutes and strength. Or take it off.
2/4 Friday- Off if you skied on Thursday or Easy ski with speed over the top of hills and into the down hill. Total :45.
2/5 Saturday- Eastern Cup in Stowe, VT. If not racing level 3 intervals. 3 minutes on and 2 minutes off. 4 times. Total 1:15
2/6 Sunday- Eastern Cup in Stowe, VT. If not racing 1:30 easy level 1 ski.
Total for the week is 7:15. Make sure you are recovering this week.
