Hi everyone-

I am pleased to announce that Mike Yeo has been hired to co-coach Maine Coast Nordic with me this summer and take over as head coach in the fall. Mike has a great deal of experience coaching the sport at all levels- from BKL to college and beyond.  He not only brings a wealth of knowledge to the program, but an enthusiasm for all things ski related that can  only be described as infectious. The MCN board and myself are very excited that he will be coaching, and we hope that you are too!

I would also like to add that Adele Espy- a former MCN athlete and a standout skier- will be helping out during the first month or so of summer practice.  With more coaches available we hope to create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment with plenty of individual attention for each athlete.

Remember, practice for the race program is at 7:30 tomorrow morning at Pineland and 2PM at Twinbrook for the development group.  Info can be found on the blog.  If you have a reflective vest or high-vis shirt, please bring it! Always remember your helmet if we are roller skiing! And make sure to bring water and a post-workout snack (bring a water belt if you have it).
